KHMS Student Showcase Night
Our Student Showcase is set for Wednesday, March 13th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Our students and staff are ready to show off all of the amazing learning that has taken place this school year. You will be able to enjoy the following:
- Core Team Activities
- PE/Exploratory Activities
- The Student Art Show
- The Book Fair in the library
We have recommended times to accommodate parking and overcrowding. Please come whenever you can, but if you can make it during the recommended time, that would be appreciated.
5:00-5:45 p.m. - Last Names A-G
5:45-6:30 p.m. - Last Names H-Q
6:30-7:15 p.m. - Last Names R-Z
We hope to see you on March 13th!

End of 3rd Term & Report Card Information
The last day of 3rd Term is March 8. Report cards will be ready and available to review in Infinite Campus after 4:00 p.m. on March 15. Directions on how to view your child's report card will be sent via email on March 15.
Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) Testing
The Illinois Assessment of Readiness assessments will be given March 12-14. The following are key points regarding our testing days:
We will have special schedules on the above testing dates. Please try to avoid taking your child out of school on these days. If a student misses school, make-up sessions will be scheduled.
All students need earbuds/headphones for the tests. The headphones need to be wired since chromebook bluetooth capability may not be reliable on these days.
Students need to make sure they come to school each day with their chromebook fully charged.
Students will need a book to read after they complete each test.
Please ensure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a nutritious breakfast on these days. Research shows that these are two important factors that assist students in doing their best.
KHMS PTO Happenings
The PTO is getting ready to host their annual St. Patty's Game Day on Friday, March 15th from 2:45-4:15 p.m. Students can play games, such as Human Hungry Hippos, floor hockey, badminton, and so much more. It is $5 to enter or $3 if a student is wearing green.
The next No Cook Knight is Thursday, March 21st at Open Range in Sugar Grove from 5:00-10:00 p.m. Make sure to mention the KHMS PTO.
