Student Showcase

Our Student Showcase is set for Tuesday, March 7th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Our students and staff are ready to show off all of the amazing learning that has taken place this school year. You will be able to enjoy the following:

Core Team Activities
PE/Exploratory Activities
The Student Art Show
The Book Fair in the library

We have recommended times to accommodate parking and overcrowding. Please come whenever you can, but if you can make it during the recommended time, that would be appreciated.

5:00-5:45 p.m. - Last Names A-Ha

5:45-6:30 p.m. - Last Names He-Ph

6:30-7:15 p.m. - Last Names Pi-Z

We hope to see you on March 7th!

End of 3rd Term

The end of the 3rd Term is Friday, March 10th. Report Cards will be emailed on Friday, March 17th.

IAR Testing

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness assessments will be given March 14-16. The following are key points regarding our testing days:

We will have special schedules on the above testing dates. Please try to avoid taking your child out of school on these days. If a student misses school, make-up sessions will be scheduled.
All students need earbuds/headphones for the tests. The headphones need to be wired since chromebook bluetooth capability may not be reliable on these days.
Students need to make sure they come to school each day with their chromebook fully charged.
Students will need a book to read after they complete each test.
Please ensure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a nutritious breakfast on these days. Research shows that these are two important factors that assist students in doing their best.

Student Appreciation Week

Our annual Student Appreciation Week will be March 20-24. There will be a theme each day (spirit week basketball theme) along with some fun activities to celebrate our awesome students. Students will be emailed the themes and activities each day.

We are putting together an order for Student Appreciation Week t-shirts. If you are interested in purchasing a shirt for your child, please click here. Orders are due no later than Sunday, March 5th. This a quick turnaround so don't delay in ordering. T-shirts will be delivered to Harter and given to students at school.

March 8 - PTO Meeting (Google Meet link) 5:30 p.m.
March 13 - No Cook Knight at Culver's in Sugar Grove - sign up to volunteer
March 17 - St. Patty's Game Day (Harter gym 2:45-4:15 p.m.) - sign up to volunteer
