PTO Winterfest - December 2

On Saturday, December 2, our PTO is hosting its annual Winterfest from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Harter cafeteria. If you are looking to shop for the holidays, play games, participate in raffles, grab a hot cocoa, or participate in other fun activities, Winterfest is for you and the whole family. Harter's very own Knightshift will make an appearance and sing for the crowd.

Winterfest is the PTO's way of giving back to all of you for your support. There is no admission, but they are hoping for donations of canned goods that will be given to the Sugar Grove Food Pantry.

Charged Chromebooks

Please help us by reminding your child to charge their chromebook at night so it is charged when they come to school. We are also encouraging students to bring their chargers to school with them in case they need to charge.

December 19 & 20 - Early Dismissal Days

Please note that December 19th and 20th are early dismissal days. Students will be dismissed to go home at 1:40 p.m. Winter Break will be December 21st through January 5th.

End of 2nd Term

The last day of the 2nd Term is Wednesday, December 20th. Grades will be finalized after Winter Break and report cards will be available in Infinite Campus on January 12th.

PTO

Our next PTO meeting will be Wednesday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. It is a virtual meeting and you can join the meeting by clicking here. The PTO is continuing to offer a prize to the homeroom that has the most parents attend the PTO meeting.

The next No Cook Knight is Thursday, November 16th at Genoa Pizza in Sugar Grove. You can find more information on the KHMS PTO website.

Kaneland IgKnight Academy

The Kaneland Personalized Learning Academy is expanding to include 9th grade beginning the 2024-2025 school year. A family informational night for students going into grades 3-9 is being held on Wednesday, November 8th at the Kaneland Meredith Academic Center from 5:30-7:00 p.m. See the flyer below for details.

Veterans Day Assembly
